 TCC is pleased to announce a new Turkish class for beginners. It will commence on 16 January 2010, Saturday. The class is every Saturday from 10am to 12pm. Sign up early to enjoy the very special new year fee of $444 for 3 months. The fee is inclusive of course, books and registration fees.

Turkish Cultural Centre celebrated its 10th Anniversary with a grand dinner at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore. Minister of Manpower Mr. Gan Kim Yong was Guest-of-Honour. The Chairman of Turkey-Singapore Parliamentary Friendship Group and MP for Aydin Mr. Ahmet Erturk, Chairman of Singapore-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group and MP for Sembawang GRC Mr. Hawazi Daipi, Members of Parliament from Singapore, Ambassadors, Religious Leaders and Business leaders were among 350 eminent guests.

Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Singapore, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Turkish Cultural Centre and Editions Didier Millet organized a wonderful event titled "Tonight in Istanbul". Guest-of-Honour for the night was Mr. Zainul Abidin Rasheed, Senior Minister of the State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mayor of North-East District. The night began with serving of delicious samples of Turkish Cuisine. The exibition of Istanbul photos under the sponsorship of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality took the guests to Istanbul for a while.
